Bonus tracks on Diana Krall's "Quiet Nights"

Tommy LiPuma, the "Quiet Nights" producer, has finally decided the two songs that will be added as bonus tracks to the Japanese issue of Diana Krall's upcoming album with Claus Ogerman: "I See Your Face Before Me" (written by Howard Dietz & Arthur Schwartz, made famous by Frank Sinatra as well as by Guy Lombardo, who scored a hit with this song in 1938) and the Bee Gees hit "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart." Bee Gees' first U.S. number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Chart was composed by brothers Barry & Robin Gibb and originally recorded on their 1971 album "Trafalgar".

Other songs will be chosen for different "alternate issues" of the "Quiet Nights" CD, which will be released in Japan on March 25. It will come out in the USA only on March 31, maybe also including "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" and "Every Time We Say Goodbye" - the original tracklist previously announced by Verve included only 10 tracks, but now they are considering an issue with 12 tracks. However, Universal Japan wants to keep "How Can You Mend..." as a track exclusively available for the Japanese market.
